Class Rings

Class rings are worn by high school, university, or college graduates. Usually worn on the right ring finger, they symbolize academic achievement and serve as a school memento

Class rings are typical memorabilia for high school and college graduates. They are usually engraved with the school's insignia, motto or any other type of symbol for the class along with the class' graduation year.

Class rings are characterized by the details engraved throughout the ring including the school's name, logo, insignia, motto, and the year of the graduating class. They are generally made of gold, but they can also be made of sterling silver, platinum, and less expensive metal alloys. They are available in men's and women's styles.

They are made of usually inexpensive alloy although there are those that are actually made of platinum, gold and sterling silver. For many students, such rings are one of the only tangible reminders of what the class went through together. The responsibility of selecting a ring design as well as the metal to be used for the ring rests on the school administrators. The design is usually agreed upon by the graduating batch but the alloy to be used depends on the school's budget as well as that of the students who will be availing of the rings.
